Abstract: Abstract In many respects, organizational culture is central to change in and of organizations. As a “hidden script”, it exerts a strong influence but can only be controlled to a limited extent. This chapter approaches the concept of organizational culture from various historicalOrganizational culture perspectives and discusses different approaches to initiating the development of organizational culture. It also reflects on the role of managers and the development of leadership culture.Leadership culture A classification of the importance of organizational and leadership culture in the digital age and a comprehensive case study conclude this chapter.
