Abstract: Zusammenfassung The publishing industry has undergone significant digital transformation, prompting changes in new types and platforms of communication, content, as well as new business models, and competitors. Fuelled by advancements in technology, the industry has seen a shift from traditional print to digital-first strategies that encompass diverse formats. The rise of e-books, audiobooks, and dynamic digital publications exemplifies this shift, promoting accessibility and expanding market reach. It has led to changing revenue streams, with a noticeable move away from traditional print towards digital media. Furthermore, new digital platforms and technologies have not only influenced how content is marketed and discussed but also how it is created and consumed.
