Abstract: Zusammenfassung Wirtschaftstransformation ist als Gestaltungsaufgabe globalen Ausmaßes aufzufassen. Das Wirtschaftsgeschehen soll im Sinn definierter Ziele gelenkt werden. Die Ökonomie wird den Sozialwissenschaften zugeordnet, in wirtschaftlichen Zusammenhängen spielen Verhaltensweisen von Menschen eine entscheidende Rolle. Unter anderem aus diesem Grund sind der Erklärung oder der Vorhersage ökonomischer Phänomene mit mathematischen Modellen Grenzen gesetzt – wie man z. B. bei Wirtschaftskrisen sieht.
