Abstract: Zusammenfassung Die Arbeitswelt in Deutschland ändert sich momentan grundlegend und die öffentliche Verwaltung mit ihren Behörden ist mehr als je zuvor auf gut funktionierende behördliche Organisationen angewiesen. Die großen Herausforderungen finden sich in den Schlagwörtern Digitalisierung, Generationen- und Wertewandel, Individualisierung, Ökologie, Verschuldung und wachsende Komplexität. Profit- wie Non-Profit-Organisationen sind konfrontiert mit hohen Anpassungsanforderungen.
