Chapter Chapter 5 in Robotic Process Automation in Use, 2024, pp 121-123 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract After the previous chapters have provided an insight into RPA technology as such, its possible strategic significance, and—most relevantly—the requirements and evaluation from an audit perspective, this chapter aims to consolidate the results. For this purpose, a schematic implementation plan is created, which is intended to assist the reader (and the decision-maker regarding the use of the technology) in making a decision for/against RPA use and also in the later implementation steps. Fig. 5.1 shows the “implementation plan” for RPA at a glance. This is to be understood as a thought aid and helps in checking whether the use of RPA in one’s own company makes sense and should be implemented. In particular, the perspectives that are in focus within this book are highlighted.
