Chapter Chapter 1 in Seven Building Blocks of a Successful Corporate Restructuring, 2024, pp 1-3 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Restructurings are mostly associated with companies that have fallen into difficulties. These companies fail to adjust in a timely and appropriate manner to the increasing changes in their environment. For sustainable business success, it is essential to recognize future relevant changes and to develop and implement solutions effectively and efficiently before the changes occur. Based on the so-called “7P” (Plan, People, Partitioning, Processes, Platforms, Portfolio, and Performance), the company can carry out the necessary strategic and structural or organizational changes in a timely, rapid, and efficient manner. Since each company is unique in its core and structure, companies should design the specific areas of action according to their individual needs.
