Innovation Communication: Background and Tasks
Florian Hohenauer ()
Chapter Chapter 1 in Toolbox Innovation Communication, 2025, pp 1-29 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The pace at which we humans create innovations is accelerating increasingly. The change brings with it a sense of uncertainty, and uncertainty can lead to fear and the rejection of the new. For this reason, every innovation should be accompanied by strong communication. Communication overcomes barriers and can help innovation succeed. Furthermore, it is an important strategic partner of management in the corporate context. It can accelerate the market penetration of disruptive innovation and help established companies fend off disruption through their own innovation initiatives. Innovation communicators support management in considering the impact of innovation on society and providing responsible solutions.
