A chapter in Quick Guide Legal Best Practices for Founders in Germany, 2025, pp 75-78 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The protection of one’s own intellectual property (IP) is often not seen as a priority when founding start-ups. However, for founders, it should be of particular importance to deal not only with the idea and the team, but especially with protective rights in order to safeguard their intellectual property. Mistakes regarding their IP can usually only be rectified later with great difficulty and at a high cost.
