Abstract: Zusammenfassung Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung ist mit dem Programm BNE 2030 und dem Nationalen Aktionsplan BNE Auftrag aller Schulen. Mit ihr verbunden ist die Transformation der Schule zum Lernort für Innovation und Entrepreneurship, für Kreation und Kunst. Für die Umsetzung braucht es Mut, einen Haltungswandel und geeignete Lernformate. Der FREI DAY ist ein hierfür geeignetes, offenes Projekt-Lernformat, das Schüler/innen den Raum bietet, im Team Projektideen zu Zukunftsfragen entwickeln und umzusetzen und so Verantwortung zu übernehmen – für sich, für andere und für den Planeten.
