Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this work is to present the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) approach starting from the essential pertinent background, describing the LCC most relevant areas of interest including a short focus on the interaction between LCC and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and articulate the reasoning behind the advantages of implementing a LCC methodology. The ultimate aim of this disclose is to create awareness of the pivotal role of LCC among the stakeholders and to foster a deeper understanding of its core principles. Furthermore, insights from the Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation (OCCAR) LCC process overview will be provided to offer an additional international perspective.
