Abstract: Abstract What do terms such as sustainability, corporate social responsibility, environmental, social and governance, and corporate sustainability mean in everyday business practice, and which operational touchpoints in the business world are truly effective? This chapter uses various sustainability concepts to highlight the challenges and opportunities facing companies that engage with the topic not only for direct compliance or cost reasons, but who have recognized it as a strategic long-term potential.
