Abstract: Zusammenfassung In einer Welt tiefgreifender Umbrüche gewinnen Konjunkturzyklen als Ausdruck wirtschaftlicher und gesellschaftlicher Dynamiken neue Relevanz. Die Analyse historischer und aktueller Zyklen erfordert eine Verbindung von Theorie, Statistik und langfristiger Perspektive. Statt rein mechanischer Fluktuationen offenbaren sich Zyklen als Spiegel institutioneller, sozialer und politischer Veränderungen. Ihre Untersuchung verlangt methodische Sorgfalt, interdisziplinären Austausch und ein Gespür für das Wechselspiel von Struktur und Wandel.
