Abstract: ZusammenfassungDie Zuständigkeiten der zentralen US-Behörden der Exportkontrolle und Sanktionsdurchsetzung werden systematisch dargestellt. Das Bureau of Industry and Security ist für die Regulierung und Überwachung der güterbezogenen Exportkontrolle, insbesondere von Dual-Use-Gütern, zuständig, während das Office of Foreign Assets Control die Verwaltung und Durchsetzung der Wirtschafts- und Handelssanktionen verantwortet. Ergänzend übernimmt das Department of Justice die strafrechtliche Verfolgung vorsätzlicher Verstöße. In ihrem Zusammenwirken bilden diese Behörden den Kern der US-amerikanischen Exportkontroll- und Sanktionsdurchsetzung mit erheblicher extraterritorialer Wirkung.
