Nature Between Power and Change: Extended Reflections Beyond Economic Models

Markus Hans-Peter Müller () and Anna Katharina Meyer ()

Chapter Chapter 7 in Nature as Capital: Evolution or Revolution?, 2026, pp 187-204 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Before we provide an outlook, we would like to take a step further and explore additional subject areas. This chapter is therefore intended to open up a multi-perspective engagement with alternative views on the relationship between nature, economy, and society. It integrates critical, indigenous, aesthetic, postcolonial, and growth-critical perspectives, thereby consciously expanding the analytical horizon beyond economic models.
