Chapter Chapter 2 in Value Distribution Theory, 1993, pp 42-57 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, we shall see that the study of the value assignment of a function in a neighborhood of an isolated essential singularity can be reduced to that of the properties of a family of functions in a fixed region. For this purpose, an introduction to the concept of normal family and some criteria for normality would be appropriate. Nevanlinna theory plays an important role in this discussion.
