The Prime Ideals of Degree 1 and the Class Concept
David Hilbert
Chapter 14 in The Theory of Algebraic Number Fields, 1998, pp 101-103 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract It is very interesting that the principles developed in Chapters 10 to 12 also throw new light on the question of the generation and constitution of the ideal classes of a number field. In this and the following chapter we shall describe the most important general theorems concerning this matter.
