Abstract:
Summary In this paper we deal with a type of extended combinatorial game, the modulo 2 game. In such a game a tie position may appear. We introduce a system of logical functions to display the properties of the game. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a winning strategy for the first player or second player are determined. Algorithms for implementing the optimal strategy and its complexity are then presented.
