Chapter Chapter 6 in Difference Methods for Initial-Boundary-Value Problems and Flow Around Bodies, 1988, pp 395-422 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter we deal with the numerical calculation of supersonic conical flow. Since the late forties, many methods have been developed for this problem. They can be divided into two kinds, namely, the method of stabilization and the steady state method. The steady state method covers the finite difference method, the method of integral relations, the series expansion method, the method of lines and so on.
