Chapter 1 in The Strategy Planning Process, 2015, pp 1-4 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Providing for long-term company success is the central task of strategic management. It can be broken down into strategic planning, strategy implementation and strategic control. Strategic planning forms the basis for the other two sub-tasks. The development of successful strategies is therefore of central importance when strategic issues are discussed, not only in literature but also in corporate practice.
