Chapter 3 in Structure Theory for Canonical Classes of Finite Groups, 2015, pp 129-190 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In Chapter III, we concentrate to study the generalized supplementary subgroup and covering systems of subgroups. In particular, a new theory of generalized supplementary subgroups is established. This new theory unifies and leads to the development of a number of research ideas and techniques in finite groups in recent years. At the end of this chapter, we give the relevant supplementary information, and some open problems are presented.
