Abstract: Zusammenfassung Wer im November geboren ist, lebt im Durchschnitt ein halbes Jahr länger als jemand mit Geburtstag im Mai. Die letztendliche Ursache muss das Klima sein, denn auf der Südhalbkugel der Erde ist das umgekehrt. Aber über welche konkreten Kanäle das Klima die weitere Lebenserwartung beeinflusst, war lange ungeklärt. Wir bieten eine Erklärung an.
