Abstract: Zusammenfassung Pappos (Παπποϛ ο Αλεξανδρευϛ) lebte etwa um 300 n. Chr. und wirkte wahrscheinlich in Alexandria. Die Bestimmung seiner Lebensdaten ist schwierig, da es von späteren Generationen kaum Kommentare gibt. Er selbst gibt an, die Sonnenfinsternis vom 18. Oktober 320 n. Chr. beobachtet zu haben.
