How to Take Action

Chapter 7 in Ambidextrous Leadership, 2022, pp 211-225 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract How can leaders drive the digital transformation? How do you lead through a crisis? Which methods are best suited to make the leap into the digital future? There are numerous studies and projects that have comprehensively explored the period of change of the digital transformation. The approach presented in this book differs from previous publications by starting at a critical point in everyday work life: the daily communication of leaders. Communication creates corporate culture. It drives innovation. And it can change the mindset of an entire organization. This chapter summarizes how leaders can use their communicative actions to make innovation happen in the midst of today’s core business. In this final section of the book, the individual chapters and their respective findings are linked to form an overall picture of ambidextrous leadership.
