Abstract: Zusammenfassung Nach Israel Kleiner waren zur Entwicklung der Infinitesimalrechnung (engl. calculus) vier Stadien notwendig. Stadium eins erfordert die Entwicklung der Ableitung bzw. Integration, Stadium zwei das Erkennen der Umkehrbarkeit, Stadium drei die Entwicklung der entsprechenden Algorithmen. Stadium vier muss die Anwendbarkeit der neu entwickelten Methoden sichern.
