Abstract:
Abstract The following chapter presents a series of current case studies on change management in the context of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), which were researched on the basis of guided interviews. The aim of the case studies is to make the challenges of change transparent by means of practical examples and to show practical solutions for these challenges in accordance with the success factors of change management. In the context of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), this primarily concerns the following challenges: Overcoming different corporate cultures Power imbalances due to enormous size differences Cultural differences in international M&A
