The Foundation of Compliance
Thomas Schneider ()
Chapter Chapter 4 in Tools of Effective Compliance, 2023, pp 25-36 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Compliance, which is limited to the observance of laws, will lag behind development in the company, instead of shaping it. Engaging with the theoretical construct of ethics and its practical implementation in the company enables the development of the individual CO’s understanding of ethics. This can form the basis for “decent” compliance, which does not stifle employees, but provides them with tools for decision-making. Against this background, the tricks and tips presented in the following book will be discussed, which enable effective compliance.
