Goals and Planning
Thomas Schneider ()
Chapter Chapter 6 in Tools of Effective Compliance, 2023, pp 51-65 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In Chap. 5 the topic “deciding” was treated, in this chapter the focus is on goals and planning. The order of the two chapters could also be chosen differently, since there are numerous interdependencies between the topics and deciding, goals and planning rather form a loop of regular coordination than a closed sequence of successively built steps. Goals and their planning are discussed in general business administration, in accounting and auditing as well as in legal education, but hardly mentioned. This is certainly justified in the assessment and solutions of individual cases, but critically to be seen in the claim of developing an effective compliance.
