The Boss
Thomas Schneider ()
Chapter Chapter 8 in Tools of Effective Compliance, 2023, pp 81-90 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The “boss” is the person who decides on life and death, compliance in general and the Head of Compliance in particular. In the end, there are no differences to other task carriers in the company. If things are in order professionally and personally, a basic requirement for effective compliance has been laid, if the opposite is the case, compliance remains piecemeal. A “side by side”, which finds its expression in the largely ignoring of the other, may have led to tolerable satisfaction of all parties involved in the past, but will no longer work if compliance is to meet the requirements of effectiveness. Which basic principles form the basis for effective cooperation without damaging the integrity of the CO is shown in the following chapter.
