Chapter Chapter 4 in Nonlinear Systems and Controls, 2024, pp 285-344 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Chapter 4 of the book Nonlinear Systems and Controls describes nonlinear controls for linear controlled systems. Among other elements, these include the anti-windup controls that are important in industrial practice. Furthermore, time-optimal controls, structure-variable controls without sliding mode, and saturating controls are addressed. This chapter also includes various real-world examples, such as the depth control of a submarine, and illustrative exercises here.
