Chapter Chapter 5 in The Project Management Office, 2024, pp 39-91 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The Project Management Office can take on different forms. Accordingly, the tasks and areas of responsibility are also varied. In Chapter 5, possible tasks of the PMO will be described. To make this list more clear, the functions can be divided into several categories. The differentiation is made according to the criterion of who benefits from the respective activity of the PMO or what the activity refers to. The resulting categories are: Functions that support individual projects, Functions in the area of tools and infrastructure, Tasks that help the project team, Functions that support project management, and Activities that benefit the entire company.
