Chapter Chapter 4 in Strategic Sustainability Management, 2025, pp 41-128 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, we want to address the specific application of sustainability in corporate strategy. The concept of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) is to be transferred from a political declaration of intent via the model of excellence into practice. We have chosen this concept for the example because it takes into account all aspects of sustainability and therefore the demand for operational implementation is highest. Many aspects of this can also be transferred to other concepts. Thus, this chapter can serve to provide food for thought for the development of creative, innovative concepts for the implementation of sustainability.
