Abstract: Zusammenfassung Bei den bisherigen Betrachtungen haben wir nur die Potenzfunktion y = x n $$y\, = \,x^n$$ oder Zusammensetzungen solcher Potenzen benutzt mit alleiniger Ausnahme bei den geometrischen Reihen und der Zinseszins- und Rentenrechnung in § 14 und 15. Wir betrachten jetzt eingehend Funktionen von der Art wie y = a x . $$y\, = \,a^x .$$ .
