On Axiomatics of Linear Dependence I: The B-Space
Takeo Nakasawa
A chapter in A Lost Mathematician, Takeo Nakasawa, 2009, pp 145-169 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this investigation, an axiom system for the notion of linear dependence in an n-dimensional projective space is to be presented with the aid of cycle calculation, which Mr. G. Thomson introduced1by his relatively abstract treatment of elementary geometry. First, we will deal with the geometry of an abstract space of linear dependence of the first type, whose exact definition will follow shortly.
