Israel Tsudikovich: My Older Colleague and Older Friend

Yuli Eidelman

A chapter in Israel Gohberg and Friends, 2008, pp 295-296 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract My acquaintance with Izrail Tsudikovich began in my early childhood. My father and he were great friends. Uncle Iz’a was mentioned often in the family discussions. From about the age eleven, I remember his association with my father and the deep impression Izrail Tsudikovich made on me, as a large and kind man with much humor, who called me ”druzhische (nice guy)”.
