Abstract: Zusammenfassung Viele Anwendungen der Mathematik beruhen auf dem „richtigen“ Modell für die Anwendung. Manchmal ist es ganz einfach, ein gutes Modell zu finden. Manchmal braucht man aber auch eine Idee: Irgendjemand fällt auf, dass ein Objekt, eine Struktur, die anscheinend mit der Problemstellung nicht das Geringste zu tun hat, das Problem ideal löst. In diesem Abschnitt zeigen wir, wie ein Problem möglichst effizienter Kommunikation mit Hilfe des guten alten Würfels optimal gelöst wird.
