Ines Nee and Insa Beckmann

Chapter 13.0 in The Long Tail of Tourism, 2011, pp 115-127 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Ecotourism is a potential segment of the tourism industry which is experiencing steady growth and increasing demand. Analyses indicate that the most significant tourism expansion is taking place in and around the world's remaining natural areas with an annual growth rate of 20% to 34% since the beginning of the 1990s (The International Ecotourism Society, 2006).
