Chapter 1 in Business Model Management, 2011, pp 3-5 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In recent years, the development and design of business models have become increasingly important. Especially in business practices and in the economic press, the flashy but ambiguous term business model is often used. Here, business models are mainly connected to the creation of competitive advantages. Occasionally, the success of corporate activities is largely related to the management of business models.
