A chapter in Sustainability in Tourism, 2013, pp 192-209 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Changing ‘hearts and minds’ is at the core of any successful movement. Even though this sounds perspicacious the practice of changing attitudes is not easy. For some 1,500 years it was accepted wisdom that the world was the centre of the universe and challenges to this viewpoint seemed folly (Magee, 2010; Mulder, 2010).
