Abstract: Abstract Japanese business leaders who are authors of the chapters of this book report the role and contributions of mathematics for their companies or corporations and relate their experiences of making serious decisions as business heads with the aid of mathematical thinking. Their comments encourage us to develop mathematics for business and urge on our efforts to improve mathematics education to foster potential business leaders.
