A chapter in New Trends in Microlocal Analysis, 1997, pp 81-99 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract We consider microhyperbolic equations degenerated precisely on a hyperplane, and study the propagation of the singularities. For some class of microhyperbolic operators, we prove that the elementary solution of the Cauchy problem is the composite of holomorphic microlocal operators and quantized contact transformations. As a corollary, we give a result for the propagation of the singularity.
