Chapter Chapter 7 in Convergence Methods for Double Sequences and Applications, 2014, pp 117-132 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, we present the notions of statistical convergence and statistical Cauchy for double sequences x=(x jk ) introduced and studied by Mursaleen and Edely (J. Math. Anal. Appl. 288:223–231, 2003). We also establish the relation between statistical convergence and strong Cesàro convergence.

Keywords: Two-dimensional natural density; Statistical convergence of double sequences; Statistically Cauchy sequences; Strongly p-Cesàro summable sequences; A-statistical convergence; Statistical A-summability; Statistical convergence in locally solid Riesz spaces; Statistically τ-bounded and statistically τ-Cauchy sequences; ; μ)-statistical convergence; ; μ)-statistical bounded sequences (search for similar items in EconPapers)
