Chapter Chapter 10 in Strategic Business Decisions, 2014, pp 257-265 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract It would be difficult to deny that there is, or should be, a link between corporate strategy and information technology (IT) activities. In this chapter, we look at IT can act as a facilitator for taking strategic decisions. We look at strategic IT investments and their needs. We analyze how IT influences various aspects of the strategy such as pricing. We then understand how IT aids in improving the performance of the company by increasing the effectiveness and the efficiency of a company.
