Chapter Chapter 3 in The Special Theory of Relativity, 2014, pp 21-33 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Chapter 3 discusses three different methods for constructing the Lorentz transformation between two inertial frames of reference. The general Lorentz transformations is also provided for an arbitrary direction of the relative velocity between two inertial frames of reference . A short note on Thomas precession is also given in the chapter.
