Chapter Chapter 4 in The Special Theory of Relativity, 2014, pp 35-51 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Some mathematical properties of Lorentz transformations, like length contraction, time dilation and relativity of simultaneity, have been discussed in Chap. 4. Also some paradoxes like Twin paradox, Car–Garage paradox have been explained in this chapter. Real example of time dilation are also provided in the chapter along with the Terrell effect, i.e. visual effect of the shape of the moving body.
