Chapter Chapter 8 in The Special Theory of Relativity, 2014, pp 89-104 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, after describing proper time, it is shown that a proper time is invariant under the Lorentz transformation. In relativity, a vector has four components. Four velocity or world velocity is also explained in the chapter. Several properties of time-like, space-like and null vectors are defined.
