Chapter Chapter 9 in The Special Theory of Relativity, 2014, pp 105-115 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In relativity, mass depends on the observer, i.e. mass is an observer dependent quantity. Chapter 9 discusses three methods for defining relativistic mass formula. The experiment made by Guye and Lavanchy to verify relativistic mass formula is also explained. Lorentz Transformation of relativistic mass is explained.
