Chapter Chapter 4 in Smooth Manifolds, 2014, pp 231-305 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In real analysis, its deep theorems (like Lagrange’s mean value theorem, fundamental theorem of integral calculus, etc.) are quite difficult to prove without the help of topological theorems (like Weierstrass theorem, Heine–Borel theorem, etc.) for real line. Similar is the situation in complex analysis.
