Abstract: Abstract The objective of the present paper is to illustrate the utilization of Analog/Hybrid/Digital Simulation for solving engineering physical problems with special emphasis on Civil Engineering applications. In this respect the simulation solution of the viscous damping non-linear differential equation is presented utilizing the facilities at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, The differential equation describe the water/earth dam interaction. Both the Simulation language [MIMIC-developed by the USA Air Force] and the Control Data Analog Computer EAI 680 were utilized for the solution. Utilization of the MIMIC Simulation language and the Analog computer present advantages for solving the differential equations which describe most of the engineering phenomena.
