Abstract:
Summary Transitional mesh generation procedures involve the definition of meshes which provide a changing element density from one part of the mesh to another. In this work a transitional mesh generation procedure based on blending and sweeping function is introduced. This procedure is used to generate typical transitional meshes. These transitional meshes show that the developed procedure produces a quad-dominated mesh.
