Abstract:
Abstract In this paper we discuss the multidimensional multiplicative structure of p. d. f.’s. First we characterize the max-antiirreducible elements in the semigroup of non-negative random variables. In the max-semigroup of arbitrary random variables a sufficient condition is given for a random variable to be antiirreducible. This condition is also necessary for absolutely continuous infinitely divisible p. d. f.’s.
